What is the Promo all about?

 

Get a chance to win one (1) of thirty (30) iPad 2 (3G,16gb) every time you swipe your UnionBank Visa Debit Card from January 2, 2012 to March 4, 2012.

Qualified debit cards include all UnionBank Visa Debit Cards with the exception of GSIS and Pinoy Money Card.

Simply use your card to make a minimum single purchase of Php 500 at any retail or online store and you get a chance to win an iPad 2. Earn two (2) additional raffle entries upon making your first purchase.

To further increase your chances of winning:

• Double your chances by making a single transaction purchase from Php 1,000 to 1,499.
• Triple your chances by making a single transaction purchase from Php 1,500 and up
  

How do I Participate?

 

1. Possess any UnionBank Visa Debit Card with the exception of GSIS and Pinoy Money Card.
2. Swipe your card to make a minimum single receipt purchase of Php500 to enter your transaction in the electronic raffle draws. Swipe your card to make a single receipt purchase Php 1,000 to 1,499 to double your chance of winning. Triple your chances by making a single receipt purchase from Php 1,500 and up. Earn two (2) additional raffle entries upon making your first purchase.
3. Be sure to check the Swipe and Win website at www unionbankph.com/swipenwin, and the UnionBank Facebook page at www.facebook.com/unionbankph for the raffle winners. Winners will be notified through registered mail, email, and SMS, along with instructions on how to claim the prize.
   

When is the Raffle Draw?

 

Winners will be selected weekly from raffle entries covering January 2, 2012 to March 4, 2012 for a total of nine (9) weekly draws announced on the UnionBank website and on our Facebook page. Non-winning entries will still be eligible for the succeeding draws until the end of the promo period.

Per DTI-NCR Permit No. 5785, Series of 2011.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Only transactions of qualified cardholders within the promo period will be entered in the raffle draws. Any purchase outside the promo period will not be counted and be deemed invalid. All purchases registered from 12:01 AM of January 2, 2012 up to 11:59 PM of the day before each draw date will comprise the total entries from where each draw will be made.
2. Non-winning entries will still be eligible for the succeeding draws until the end of the promo period.
3. A participant can only win once for the entire duration of the promo.
4. Winners will be electronically drawn every week at 3:00 PM, from January 2, 2012 to March 4, 2012 for a total of nine (9) weekly draws. Weekly draws will be held at the 20/F UnionBank Plaza, Meralco Avenue corner Onyx and Sapphire Streets Ortigas Center Pasig City in the presence of a DTI representative.
5. Winners will be notified through registered mail, email, and SMS, along with instructions on how to claim the prize.
6. All prizes can be claimed by winners at the 20/F UnionBank Plaza, Meralco Avenue corner Onyx and Sapphire Streets Ortigas Center Pasig City, between 8:30 AM until 5:30 PM, Mondays through Fridays. Look for Mags Surtida. For winners residing in the provinces (within the Philippines but outside Metro Manila), prizes can be claimed at a designated branch to be determined by UnionBank within reasonable distance from the winner's place of residence, which is indicated in the registered mail.
7. The prize is not convertible to cash.
8. To claim the prize, the lucky winners should present the original copy of the registered mail they received, the winning UnionBank Visa Debit Card used for the winning entry and two (2) valid I.D.s (such as SSS/GSIS, driverÕs license, etc) with picture.
9. As part of the claiming process, winners must sign a Release, Waiver and Quit Claim Form.
10. Prizes must be claimed within 60 calendar days after the receipt of registered mail otherwise, they shall be forfeited and retained by UnionBank with prior DTI approval.
11. UnionBank reserves the right to verify if the drawn entries are eligible UnionBank Visa Debit Cardholders.
12. UnionBank may utilize the services of its authorized service providers for management of the Promo, data processing, prize redemption management and analysis, and other purposes related to the Promo. The information may also be used to send communication materials related to the Promotion to the Participants by UnionBank and its agencies or retained service providers, as the case may be.
13. Employees of UnionBank of the Philippines, promo partners and advertising agencies are disqualified from joining the promotion.
14. Persons reporting regularly to UnionBank, their advertising and media agencies, under contract of service and who, by the nature of the service they render, may have a direct and personal knowledge of the promotion are likewise disqualified.
15. All disputes regarding the Promotion, Raffle Draws and Prizes will be determined at UnionBank's sole discretion with the concurrence of DTI.
16. UnionBank's decision on all matters relating to the Promotion, Raffle Draws and Prizes are final and binding on all Participants.
17. These terms and conditions herein shall be constructed, interpreted in accordance with and governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. For administrative complaints related to the promo, the venue of administrative action shall be in accordance with the Department of Trade and Industry.
18. As a condition for participating in the Promo, a participant agrees to be bound by the Promo Mechanics and the Terms and Conditions stated herein.
